Tiere Live goes Europe
The Bavarian know-how “Tiere Live” is on the way to other European schools. First chapters are published. During the upcoming IUCN/ CEC meeting in Laufen experts will discuss possibilities to introduce this project to other European countries. The Bavarian Academy for Nature Conservation and Landscape Management
is a public educational and research institute. It was established in 1976 by decision of the Bavarian State Parliament and belongs to the Bavarian State Ministry for Environment and Health. The office is in Laufen an der Salzach, Upper Bavaria
International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)
On 23rd November 2010 the European IUCN-Director Dr. Hans Friedrich presented Dr. Christoph Goppel (Director of the ANL) with the official IUCN-certificate of membership. The Bavarian Academy for Nature Conservation and Landscape Management (ANL) is the first academy as an IUCN-member worldwide.
